3.5" IPS High Brightness Display 320x240 920nits - RGB
DM-TFT35-387
DM-TFT35-387 is a 3.5-inch landscape IPS TFT display with 320 × 240 pixels and a 24-bit RGB interface. The ST7272A controller drives a transmissive, normally black panel with a 70.08 × 52.56 mm active area. The module measures 76.9 × 63.9 × 3.17 mm and uses a ten-chip LED backlight.

The host supplies RGB image data and timing, the serial lines configure the ST7272A, and the LED driver supplies the backlight. Each path can be checked independently during bring-up.
Provide the specified LED drive independently of the panel logic supply. Include both paths in the power budget.
Functional connection overview for DM-TFT35-387. Use the module pin assignment for the circuit and connector design.
The backlight table lists 800 cd/m² minimum and 920 cd/m² typical luminance, with the luminance row specified at IF = 20 mA. It separately lists a typical forward current of 40 mA and a typical forward voltage of 15 V. Use these conditions explicitly when comparing the panel and selecting its backlight drive.

Condition / scope: CR ≥ 10
The module exposes eight red, eight green and eight blue data lines for 24-bit RGB input, together with HSYNC, VSYNC, DCLK and DE.
CSB, SCK, SDI and /RESET provide the controller configuration and reset connections. Follow the ST7272A document for register access.
VDD is 3.0–3.6 V with 3.3 V typical; normal panel current is 31 mA typical. Provide the higher-voltage backlight drive through VBL+ and VBL− separately.

Use the 70.08 × 52.56 mm active area to position the viewing opening. Check the complete module and FPC geometry against the mechanical drawing.
The module lists −30 to +85 °C operating limits and −40 to +85 °C storage limits. Include the enclosure and backlight thermal conditions in the system design.
Optical characteristics are measured in a dark room at 25 ± 2 °C after a 15-minute warm-up. Final appearance also depends on the cover and surrounding lighting, so assess the finished assembly under its intended conditions.

Use the dimensioned engineering drawing to position the cover opening and connection space. The illustration separates the image matrix from the physical module envelope.
Open the DM-TFT35-387 engineering drawing →The landscape format can be evaluated for instrument readouts or status interfaces that need a higher-luminance panel. Assess the cover and ambient lighting with a sample before setting an outdoor-readability requirement.
It is typical module luminance, with 800 cd/m² minimum. The luminance row states IF = 20 mA; the backlight electrical table separately lists 40 mA typical forward current and 15 V typical forward voltage.
No outdoor readability rating is established by the luminance figure alone. The supplied optical values describe the module under its stated measurement conditions; the cover and ambient light affect the finished display.
CSB, SCK and SDI provide serial configuration. The 24-bit RGB data bus and HSYNC, VSYNC, DCLK and DE carry image data and timing. Touch-named terminals are marked NC; no integrated touch function is specified.
