Round AMOLED Display Module

1.39" Round AMOLED Display 400×400 300nits Typ. 16.7M Colors - MIPI

High-resolution round AMOLED display for compact user interfaces, wearable devices, smart control panels, portable instruments, and circular HMI designs. The module combines a 1.39 inch active display format, 400 × 400 pixel resolution, 16.7 million color output, typical 300 cd/m² luminance, and MIPI interface support.

The display uses Raydium RM69080 controller IC and supports Real RGB pixel arrangement. Logic and panel power are separated through IOVCC 1.8V and VCI 2.8V supply rails, which should be verified during schematic design, power sequencing, and PCB layout.

Electrical & Interface Integration Details

Separated Power Rails

Use 1.8 V for IOVCC and 2.8 V for VCI. Confirm power sequencing, ripple control, grounding, and connector pin mapping against the official datasheet before PCB release.

MIPI Data Interface

MIPI interface support can help simplify display signal routing compared with wide parallel interface designs, depending on the host platform. Verify lane configuration, FPC routing, impedance control, and signal integrity during hardware integration.

Controller IC / Firmware Check

Use the official display datasheet and RM69080 initialization code when checking command sequence, timing behavior, panel control, and firmware initialization requirements.

Mechanical Design Data

The module size is 38.6 × 40.5 × 0.7 mm, with a 35.4 × 35.4 mm viewing area. The thin 0.7 mm module profile is suitable for compact enclosure designs where display stack height must be controlled.

Before enclosure tooling, verify the active area, viewing area, FPC bend direction, connector position, mechanical keep-out area, and assembly tolerance using the datasheet and STEP file.

PCB Layout Checkpoints

Confirm MIPI routing rules and impedance control before layout approval.

Validate 1.8 V IOVCC and 2.8 V VCI rails under startup and normal mode.

Check FPC bending radius, connector clearance, adhesive area, and mechanical pressure points.

Use the provided STEP model to confirm enclosure, window, and circular UI alignment.

Run display initialization with the RM69080 reference code before firmware freeze.

Engineering Resource Package

Display Datasheet

Use the DM-OLEDC139-654 datasheet to confirm electrical characteristics, mechanical dimensions, interface details, and operating conditions before design lock.

Controller IC / Firmware Check

Use the official display datasheet and RM69080 initialization code when checking command sequence, timing behavior, panel control, and firmware initialization requirements.

Initialization Code

Use the RM69080 MIPI 400×400 example code to support firmware bring-up and verify communication with the display module.

STEP 3D Model

Import the STEP file into mechanical design software to confirm fit, enclosure clearance, FPC position, and product assembly structure.

Application Fit

Wearable Devices

Round 1.39 inch format and 400 × 400 resolution support circular UI designs for smartwatches, fitness trackers, and compact wearable terminals.

Portable Health Monitor UI

Suitable for display-interface evaluation in portable health monitoring products. Final medical device compliance, certification, and reliability validation must be completed at the finished product level.

Industrial HMI

Appropriate for compact control panels, handheld instruments, and round status screens where MIPI interface, clear color output, and thin module structure are required.

OEM & ODM Supply Details to Confirm

For production programs, confirm sample availability, volume pricing, production lead time, customization scope, inspection standards, packing requirements, and long-term supply expectations before purchase order release.

Customization requests may involve display parameters, FPC design, interface configuration, firmware support, and project-specific integration requirements. Final feasibility depends on technical review and order volume.

Pre-Production Validation Checklist

01. Confirm the official datasheet version and match it with the exact product code DM-OLEDC139-654.

02. Verify IOVCC 1.8 V and VCI 2.8 V power rails on the target PCB.

03. Check MIPI interface compatibility with the selected processor, SoC, or display bridge.

04. Confirm mechanical fit using the 38.6 × 40.5 × 0.7 mm module dimension and 35.4 × 35.4 mm viewing area.

05. Test RM69080 initialization code on the target platform before pilot production.

06. Confirm touch requirements early because this listed module configuration has no touch mode.
