1.54" 200×200 E-Paper Display
This 1.54-inch active matrix electrophoretic display features 200×200 pixel resolution with all-view capability and SPI interface integration. The display delivers high contrast ratio (8:1 minimum) with 35% typical white reflectivity, making it ideal for low-power applications requiring bi-stable performance.
The display module integrates gate buffer, source buffer, timing control logic, oscillator, DC-DC converter, SRAM, LUT, VCOM and border control in a single chip solution. With typical power consumption of 4.5mW during operation and deep sleep current as low as 1μA, it supports commercial temperature range from 0°C to 50°C.
- Ultra Low Power Consumption: Typical operating current 1.5mA at 3.0V, sleep mode current 20μA with RAM data retention
- Bi-stable Performance: Image retention without power supply, reducing overall system power requirements
- Flexible Interface: Supports both 3-wire and 4-wire SPI interface with maximum clock frequency of 20MHz
- Integrated Temperature Sensor: Internal sensor with ±2°C accuracy from -25°C to 50°C, supporting external I2C temperature sensor
The driver IC SSD1681 provides complete display control with built-in booster and regulator for generating all necessary driving voltages including VCOM (VGH: 10V to 20V, VGL: -VGH, VSH1/VSH2: 2.4V to 17V, VSL: -5V to -17V).

Electrical Characteristics (VSS=0V, VCI=3.0V, TOPR=23°C): High level input voltage ≥0.8VCI, low level input voltage ≤0.2VCI. Typical power consumption 4.5mW, deep sleep mode power 0.003mW.
The display supports both 3-wire and 4-wire Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) with pin selection via BS1 pin. 4-wire SPI consists of SCL (serial clock), SDA (serial data), D/C# (data/command control), and CS# (chip select).
- 4-wire SPI Mode: Maximum write speed 20MHz, D/C# pin determines command/data
- 3-wire SPI Mode: 9-bit data transmission, first bit as D/C# indicator
- Busy Indicator: BUSY pin outputs high during operations (waveform output, temperature sensing)
- Auto Address Increment: X and Y address counters automatically advance after data write
We provide customized display solutions for volume applications with technical support for system integration and optimization.
