3.0"240x400 IPS Capacitive - SPI, MCU, RGB
DM-TFT30-407
DM-TFT30-407 integrates a 240 × 400 IPS TFT display with an ST7796S display controller and an FT6336G capacitive touch controller. Its G+F touch assembly supports single-point touch and gestures over I²C. The module has a 38.88 × 64.8 mm active area and measures 45.04 × 77 × 3.85 mm, providing a compact portrait display format for embedded interfaces.

Model-specific example code is available for the ST7796S image path. The FT6336G has a separate I²C connection, reset and interrupt for touch reporting.
FT6336G · I²C. Touch acquisition is separate from image transfer.
Provide the specified LED drive independently of the panel logic supply. Include both paths in the power budget.

Touch communicates through I²C. Use 0x38 for 7-bit addressing; the datasheet also lists 0x70 for an 8-bit write address and 0x71 for an 8-bit read address.
Keep address format consistent with the host I²C API. A library that accepts a 7-bit device address should receive 0x38 rather than the write or read address byte.

The optical table specifies a dark-room measurement at 25 ± 2 °C after 15 minutes of warm-up. Use a stable panel supply and a separate constant-current LED driver as described in the backlight section.
Match the module drawing and pin assignment to the board connector. The panel supply and touch-controller supply have separate specifications.
The display reset specification gives a minimum 10 µs reset pulse. Observe the stated reset recovery and Sleep Out delays before normal display operation.
Use the model-specific example code as an implementation reference, then verify orientation, touch coordinates and gesture handling in the target hardware.
The module lists operating temperature limits of −20 to +70 °C and storage limits of −30 to +80 °C. These assembly limits should govern the product selection, even where the controller document describes a broader component range.

Use 0x38 when the API expects a 7-bit slave address. The 0x70 write and 0x71 read values are address bytes that include the read/write bit.
The linked ST7796S/TM3.0/407 directory is the model-specific display example. The FT6336G touch connection remains a separate I²C implementation with its own reset and interrupt.
The DC table gives 3.3 V typical. The pin description specifies 2.5–3.3 V for pins 33–34; use that pin range for connection planning. Consult DisplayModule before using the higher limit listed in the DC table.
